You misunderstand. Not only me, but forums and mods in general. Saying "If you continue this, I will ban you" does not mean that I will; it's a warning.

I do not pity you over a game, I pity you because your version of the facts is horribly flawed and incorrect; I covered some of it in my warning post. Opinions are good, but not biased, aggressive, and destructive opinions.

Uhmm, no thanks. How about he plays the game more the way sakurai made it

1) You don't know how Sakurai intended the game.

2) If you did, why would you limit yourself to the vision of a game designer that, although he is good, is not perfect, and thus may not have seen things that improve a game?

3) Sakurai probably doesn't care how you play the game, much less that you play the game the way "he intended."

Advanced techniques are not the only things that make competitive players better. We look at the game differently, we see the hidden angles, we think about aspects casual players don't even know about, we consistently exploit every opportunity we get for our own benefit.

Anyway, its smart to play the game normally, because alot will be changed in Brawl. He's not bad, he's just not competetive style

The above stated aspects of competitive smash will not change, and thus we will be better than casuals from day one. Also, competitive smash isn't a "style" as much as a path to become better.

I mean, how far does casual go?

if reffering to the topic of smash, i would consider someone casual if they, do not use advanced techs or refer to tiers when choosing a character. I would also consider it (in the topic of smash) someone who doesnt go to tourneys. In this sense you could consider me rather casual, as i really dont do any of these things. I play smash with my friends for fun, not for competition. I also dont use advanced techs really unless i am playing someone really good and need them to help. That is what i consider casual. This really isnt a topic you could be flamed (a good thing) as it is all personal opinion, so good job with that also.

Meh, i don't go to tournaments, all i really do is edgehog... I really wouldn't consider my self casual though.

Edgehog is a strategy. Casual people play because it's a game, Smashers play because it's fun.

Lemme define casual, then I'll stop being off topic.

Casual, most of the time, means that you are not willing to take your game to a new level by working so doing things such as learning advanced techniques and going to tournaments. Especially going to tournaments. Also, casual players aren't usually actively looking for a way to get better, or are "sorta" trying to get better, but shun the most obvious path, advanced techniques.

I didn't want a pity party, i left as soon as a posted that. and if i actualy got my smash revolution validation and nsider was actually working for me at the time, i would've never came back.

It's not like smashboards at all, becuse no where near as much information is stored/announced/discussed/can be found there. Nor do many of the users know as much as the average smashboards user that goes to places other than the brawl boards.
