Yes, he purposely spells it with an "e"
He pretty much has the most known nickname in the school, even teacher's call him that, and other people call him derivations of that like "tot" or "spudmuffin"

If he doesn't, my best friend does. He's called "Dave," even though that's not even his name. He has his own religion, Davism, and a poorly made bible, with stuff about living in a cardboard box for 40 days and 40 nights w/o food, water, or bathroom.
