Why do you think things like this manage to become so popular? A small group of people can start a fad, and it can spread to the whole intrenet. O RLY owls, the walrus and his bucket, lolcats, NO U, DO A BARREL ROLL, "I have no idea what you're talking about, so here's a x with a y on it's head," "because you touch yourself at night," and the one in the title are all good examples. Why are we people on the internet so fad-crazed?

I don't know. Crazy stuff like that intrigues people I guess. You forget rickroll as well.

But i agree...Oh and don't forget teh "Rick roll" Fad, Anyhow they do get stupid overtime and time but i'm just not sure how they get so popular...They tend to get annoying through.

On Kanye West's Album Stronger, he' portrayed as a cute teddy bear. Guys like his beats and girls will say, aww thats so cute! Both genders easily covered.
