Yoshi "invented" this...so all credit goes to him. He's just incredibly fat and lazy, so I'm reposting it here on LWC.

This is almost like SSB Arena, but more interesting. We'll do melee challenges until Brawl comes out, in which then we'll do those. How is this different? Well, the challenges have to be, er..., challenging. Then you get points for just completing it. Example: In Samus HRC, grab the bat, press Z, then turn around and grab the bag before the bat hits it. Then smash the bag with your bat off the backwall, and keep it on the stage. You get 5 points if you did the first or second part, 10 points if you did both, and 15 if you did both and got it on the HRC track. Whoever got the longest distance would get 5 extra points.

Btw, you can do any challenge at any time. And also, I encourage you to make challenges yourselves, and I'll post them if they are valid.

Hopefully this will be more interesting than the Arena. Good luck to all participants!

FIRST CHALLENGE:

Can you beat Ness' Break the Target Test using only downairs?
5 points for completing the challenge.
10 points for completing the challenge under a minute
15 points for completing the challenge in under 45 seconds
20 points to whoever gets the fastest score (must be under 45 seconds, though)

SECOND CHALLENGE:

How fast can you beat the first stage of adventure mode? (Not including the Mario/Peach fight)
5 points for getting under 1 min
10 points for getting under 45 sec
15 points for getting under 35 sec
20 points to the fastest

THIRD CHALLENGE:

In training mode, Temple stage, using 1x speed and no items, start a little to the left of where you spawn, just above the caged platform. Now go directly to the lowest platform without touching any other ground. Then go to the tan section of the platform to the left of the lowest platform, also without touching any other ground. Then go to the highest platform in the middle section using the same principle. Then go to either of the 2 highest platforms on the far right of the stage, using that principle. Then go back to the bottom-most platform, same rule. You may only grab ledges if the floor is tan. When using Ice Climbers, the rule applies to BOTH climbers. When using Zelda or Sheik, you cannot use transform, and they count as 2 different characters. The (as in one) computer CANNOT interfere (i.e. must be on stand.)

5 points if you can do it with 1 character
10 points if you can do it with 5 characters
15 points if you can do it with 8 characters
20 points to whoever can do it with the most characters

NEW CHALLENGE

How fast can you do Roy's Break Targets using only his Back Air?
5 points for finishing in under 60 seconds
10 points for finishing in under 40 seconds
15 points for finishing in under 30 seconds
20 points for the best time (which must be under 30 seconds)

NEW CHALLENGE

How quickly can you complete Falco's Break the Targets with only his Down B?

5 Points for completing in under 35 seconds
10 Points for completing in under 25 seconds
15 Points for completing in under 18 seconds
20 Points for the fastest time (which must be under 18 seconds)

SIGS

What do you fellows think about sigs? Should we have placement (1st, 2nd, and 3rd) as well as participation sigs? Should there be a banner? What sizes should the sigs be? What should be put in the sigs? Etc.
