Well, SMRPG fans got crapped on again... Not only was Geno not even an AT but SMRPG didn't even get any representation at all. Evil or Very Mad

No trophies, not music, no nothing. There's a rumor going around Go Nintendo right now that Geno was in the game and that Square Enix was cool with it but then Nintendo got pissed about something regarding the deal they made and then took him out. Wonderful... just wonderful... I'm going to buy Brawl regardless but I still think a lot of fans got the shaft. Isaac's AT is lame, Krystal is a mere cameo, a similar rumor is floating around about Megaman, and Ridley ended up being a boss (although an extremelly cool one). *sigh*

At least this picture's funny and this gives me some hope for the future:

Unless we get downloadable content then we're screwed, honestly, no claus/ACer/Isaac/Geno/Other essentials? I really think falco now should've gotten the boot for krystal since falco really only rely's on fanbases, some of the stuff is ridiculous but it was a bit overhyped.

And Mario RPG Fans (I've played all 6 games from paper mario, M&L, and SMRPG) Got boned, FOR THE THIRD TIME!!!!!!!!11111111111!!11!111!11!11

Really only for the second time TK. It's not likely anyone other than the essentials had a chance at SSB64.

Downloadable content seems very unlikely for Brawl simply because Nintendo has such a weird stance on it. Unless Sakurai says something about it at GDC, don't expect it to happen.

Geno might have had a fair chance if half of the characters deserving got in. We only got to see 10 or so new movesets this time around, we can only hope for more in the future.

Well, there is some good news coming out of this. In a recent interview with IGN, Sakurai noted that there would probably be a sequel to Brawl eventually and, unlike at the beginning of Brawl's production, he's no longer 100% against directing the next game. Granted, he wants to take a nice long break from it but he willingly admits that he loves the series and is not ready just yet to completely let it go.
