Someone told him there was already an 'official' Smash-based forum called Smashboards, and EJ insisted he try out Smash Revolution believing (s)he could do better. I'm not sure who said it, but I think UL might.

It can be assumed EJ didn't know what the hell smashboards was at the time.

EJ was aware of it. She joined smashboards a few months ago to create a thread in search of the best player in the region.

Here’s the link to the thread if you want to check it out. So, she knew what kind of site she was competing against. The only thing she didn’t realize is how badly Smash Revolution would fail.

So wait, I just noticed that you guys said EJ is a woman right? But Erick would be an awkward name for a female. What’s going on, is EJ male, or female? confused
